Health Care Services In Low-Income Countries
ICEIDA, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Social Security, the University of Iceland and the Primary Health Care Organisation of Reykjavik Capital Area, organised a conference on health services in low-income countries Friday 28 September. The main objective of the conference was to stimulate discussion and understanding in Iceland of the challenges health services face in poor countries. It also aimed to present and discuss the support of ICEIDA to the health services in the Monkey Bay area in Malawi, one of Iceland´s partner countries. Research Seminar: maternal and child health in Monkey Bay, Malawi, was held the day before, Thursday 27 September.
