Five Interns Wanted to ICEIDA?s Partner Countries
ICEIDA has advertised for young university students to work in the agency’s partner countries. The positions are five months internships in relation to ICEIDA’s projects in five partner countries, Malawi, Uganda, Namibia, Mozambique and Nicaragua. The chosen interns will head overseas in July and come back home in the beginning of December.
There is usually a lot of interest in the internship positions at ICEIDA and last year two hundred youngsters applied for the positions. The applicants must have finished their first university degree and be younger than 32 years old.
The agency looks for different educational background in the interns according to the projects in each country. For instance, the desired applicant for Malawi needs to have education in the social sciences and knowledge of research methodology but in Uganda the applicant needs to have education in economics, development or development economics.
