Cross-cutting issues

Gender According to the FALP Annual Report 2000 the program targets the population over 15 years that has little or no education as well as those who have relapsed into illiteracy with special emphases on women. The experience has shown that women are the overwhelming majority of those who participate in the FALP or about 77%, which indicates that special provisions need to be made to attract men to the classes.
