Date of publication: 9 May 2017

Date of closing: 30 May 2017 at 16:00 Icelandic time

Civil Society Organizations contribute significantly to Icelandic development cooperation as well as emergency and humanitarian assistance. They have strong links with the grass roots in recipient communities and can play an important advocacy role for vulnerable and disadvantage groups. Projects of two organisations are subject to this evaluation, the Icelandic Church Aid and the Icelandic Red Cross. They both receive development project-based and humanitarian funding from the Ministry from Foreign Affairs Iceland (MFA).

The Ministry for Foreign Affairs Iceland, Directorate for International Development Cooperation, now seeks a qualified consultant, with relevant experience in evaluating CSO projects, to conduct an evaluation of civil society organizations receiving development programme funding from the MFA.
